If your a free sole who enjoys the outdoors avoid here. Nazi Germany reimagined!! Didn't even stay there because....as the law says your dog tags are legal instruments.....this was not good enough for the proprietor. Did not get my deposit back either ☹️Friend had to drop all his firewood at the entrance so he would have to buy theirs. DO NOT move your fire ring, 6" move cost him a $100 dollar
Lot's of events for the kids. Bring your camper or pitch a tent. Plenty of good fishing spots in the river. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Prices in the store are a little high but not terrible. Price is comparable to other places but charge a fortune for any guests that come to visit. Staff are okay at best and the owners tend to be rude after they've hit the sauce.
Well if you enjoy staying at a campground with over the top rule restrictions and high fines this might just be the place for you. The owners are extremely rude and do not know how to treat their guests. I think their slogan said come as a friend and leave as family. Nobody needs family like them.
Location is good, need to update recreational items such as mini golf and should be wifi through park. Also would benefit from adding nick jr and boom for kids
Sign at entrance has shadow of former campground affiliation. Not very appealing...compared to other parks. .
Minuses...terrible road coming in. Must get gate pass if out past 9 pm, sites are gravel, old, small picnic tables, small sites, pool area had very torn up chair cushions.
Plusses...well stocked store, very nice pool, restrooms clean, sites have firerings, site are fairly level.
Would probably rate this as 3.5 if I could. We've been traveling all summer so if have to compare this to all the others we've been in.
